I’m in a Haze of Confusion

I’m just a tad bit confused and apparently I’m not the only one.
I wrote back in July about my discovery of Haze; I was beside myself excited about this game.
And then, Ubisoft broke my little ole heart and announced that they were pushing the game back to the fourth fiscal quarter of this year.
Now the confusion part comes in.
If you go to Playstation’s page for Haze, the release date is listed as 01/2008. Seriously, WTF?
Why are you playing with my emotions like this?!
Don’t get me wrong here. I don’t want to wait until the fourth quarter for Haze and a January release would make me quite happy.
But, why the back and forth?
I can’t help but wonder if Ubisoft was trying to avoid other games that might have been seen as competition.
Don’t worry too much about Haze. It feels a bit too generic for my tastes. It’s like a poor man’s Crysis. Now Turok, that’s something I’m looking forward to.
I don’t care what you say, Haze is going to rock. But, thanks for reminding me about Turok…I had completely forgotten about it.
Bad gamer. Bad.

You’ll agree that the 360’s 2008 lineup doesn’t hold a candle to what’s in store for the PS3.
