I’m in Love with Ms Dewey

Okay so I’m pretty blown away right now by this new breed of search engine .. introducing Ms Dewey, the virtual search engine host.
A search engine that has a video projection of a female host, who comments on your search queries. Search for the word car and she’ll mention something like “There’s two sounds that I like, a man crying and his car burning“. Search for something like “weather” and it’ll actually start raining right in front of you.
Of course there’s some AI action going on in the background, matching your queries to specific video clips but what impressed me was the amount of clips. I would have surfed that site for a good 20 minutes entering in random queries and I seemed to always find new quirps and witty comments.
It’s one of those sites that I can’t talk about .. you just have to see for yourself.
Yes, Ms De Wey already took a lot of my time.. And she wants more!
Ms. Dewey took a lot of my time too, but only because it took so long to get anything done with all the flash! This is supposed to be the “anti-Google”, but at least Google, Yahoo and co. get straight to the point – the search. Ms. Dewey seems to be more about entertainment (if you can call it that) than about searching the web.
I fell in love with Ms Dewey only to realise that she is not real….like a mermaid.She drowns my loneliness and answers my questions…
whatever she is im still in love.
Well .. that was interesting! Cute – but, she has an attitude .. The results are pretty accurate … and honestly .. when she just picks up her cell phone it’s quite rude~ :p
I’m about to unsubscribe from this blog because this entry shows up like every day or so in my news reader (bloglines) *annoying as hell*

I wonder why this one keeps popping up in our Bloglines .. and not the latest posts?
Maybe .. can you just change the URL to a textual address? like .. www dot msdewey dot com ??? Then it wouldn’t keep pinging our Bloglines..
