Indeed is a search engine for jobs – with a radically different approach to job search. In one simple search, Indeed gives job seekers free access to millions of employment opportunities from thousands of websites. Indeed.com includes all the job listings from major job boards, newspapers, associations and company career pages – and we continue to add new sites every day.
Indeed announced Job Search with Salary Information. You can now enter an annual salary in a keyword search box to find all jobs they estimate pay at least that much. For example if you are looking for a Project Management job that pays $60,000, just type “Project Manager $60,000″ in the search box and click “Find Jobs”.
Feel free to try out this new feature right here at Interview Chatter. Check the side panel and you will find an Indeed Job Search box right here. Let me know what you think!

While salary should not be the main factor in choosing a new job, we do all have a certain amount of bills to pay – and we know what we believe we are worth as well. I applaud this new service and thank you Darlene for the hook up and mention on your awesome blog!
Hi Andy! Thank you so much for your comment and insights. Salary is a critical part of the interview and hiring transaction. I would like to explore the portion of your comment about “we know what we believe we are worth”. That is worth exploring more here at Interview Chatter. Have a great night Andy and please stop by more!!
Darlene-
When I say ‘we all believe we know what we are worth’ I mean – most people I know almost always feel they could be doing better than they are – that there is a part of what they do (or all of what they do) that goes financially unrewarded.
When asked, most job seekers I know are lost in the feeling “I should be getting more” – instead, in my humble opinion, they should focus on being hired into a job for which they are paid commiserately.
Thanks for your great board.
