India sink West Indies

India proved too much for the West Indies in their final warm up, as the Windies managed to bowl themselves out for 85. Was the Indian bowling that good? No. Was the West Indian batting that bad? Yes. In fact, much of the progress that has been seen in the West Indian team in the last 12 months was missing, and instead the rabbit in headlights look had returned to the West Indian players. India needed to lose only one wicket to win the match.

This puts a real hex on my hopes for this World Cup – I thought West Indies could win it. With performances like that, I feel obliged to change my mind.
