Now that NASCAR has been in HD for a while, it’s time for other racing sports to join them, and the next racing sport is, IndyCar! Ok, so that didn’t get you excited? Well how about this: all the cameras, including “in-car cameras and those used in the pits” are HD as well, not to mention the cameras around the track. They had to spend some time and research developing a system of in-car cameras that wouldn’t affect the aerodynamics of the car, which would be really, really bad for the racer. Not to mention there would probably be lawsuits heading to ABC and ESPN offices nationwide. You’ll be able to watch the HD IndyCar series on ABC and ESPN starting March 29, when the first race is at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. In the mean time, we are stuck with football and NASCAR coming in February.
