Now that we’ve had a bit of time to think about the draft picks, let’s go through them one by one. How did your favorite team do? Here’s my take on Arizona Cardinals

Draft Picks:

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB, Tennessee State (Rd. 1, Pick 16)

Calais Campbell, DE, Miami (FL) (Rd. 2)

Early Doucet, WR, LSU (Rd. 3)

Kenny Iwebema, DE, Iowa (Rd. 4)

Tim Hightower, RB, Richmond (Rd. 5)

Chris Harrington, DE, Texas A&M (Rd. 6)

Brandon Keith, OLB, Northern Iowa (Rd. 7)

Best Value:

21 January 2008: Early Doucet from LSU during the 2008 Senior Bowl's South Team practice at the Fairhope Municipal Stadium in Fairhope, Alabama.

Early Doucet

When it comes to the Cardinals, it is all about value. While, in my opinion, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is just “ok” as a 16th pick, Calais Campbell in round 2 is a nice pick and Early Doucet in round 3 is a FANTASTIC pick. Overall, the Cardinals had a decent draft.
