Terror Group Divided As Al-Qaida Leader Insults Obama
Some Mullahs Concerned About Playing International Dozens With First Black President
The CIA reported today that intercepted radio chatter indicated a major internal power struggle among al-Qaida officials as Ayman al-Zawahri, the second in command of the terrorist organization, insulted President-elect Obama.
Some members of the extremist group were concerned about the wisdom of a strategy where Islamic extremists would seek to engage in trash talking with America’s first black President.
One mullah, who asked to remain nameless for fear of getting his head cut off, said, “Seriously. You’ve got a name like ‘al-Zawahri’ and on top of that you want to start trading insults with a black guy who has probably heard a million ‘yo mamma’ jokes and went to Harvard Law School? Seriously.”
The upstart wing of the radical group (radical radicals?) were said to feel strongly that al-Qaida should continue to play to its strength in traditional overblown rhetoric and not engage the United States in a distinctly American form of breaking chops.
As a rule, rhetoric coming from terrorists is long on exaggerated, vivid imagery of animals and flowing rivers of blood, but lacks the personal touch of the common street game “the dozens” played throughout the United States.
National security analysts are concerned that the recent comments by al-Zawahri could indicate a greater willingness by al-Qaida to open up additional fronts in the battle for international insult supremacy.
President-elect Obama appeared unconcerned when questioned about al-Zawahri’s comments and brushed off the al-Qaida figure saying, “That dude’s so ugly, the last time I saw something that looked like him I pinned a tail on it.”
