Here at Biz Chicks Rule, Bridget and I are always trying to find new ways to encourage our business-minded readers. Starting tomorrow, we’re going to be highlighting women leaders who’ve made a mark on business, economics, or women’s rights in the past or present in a new feature called BCR Leading Ladies.
For the month of February, we’re going to focus on black women in honor of Black History Month. First up, Bridget will profile Madame C.J. Walker, the first American female millionaire, on Friday, February 1. Next, I’ll be discussing Sojourner Truth, widely known for her 1854 “Ain’t I a Woman?” speech, on Tuesday, February 5.
Look for a new Biz Chicks Rule Leading Lady every Tuesday and Friday in February.
Is there someone you’d like us to profile? Leave a comment, and we’ll add her to the list!
