I think that front kick kind of threw him off a bit and may have even knocked the wind out of him. When he got hit with that right, it looked as if it stunned him. After the ref stopped the fight and Kimbo was still trying to recover and fight the ref, it was either quite obvious that he got stunned bad somewhere in there or that he was playing it off really well.
