IOC Donates $1 Million in China Earthquake Aid

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has pledged $1 million to the relief and recovery efforts of those affected by the 7.9 magnitude earthquake in China’s Sichaun Province on Monday. Said IOC chairman, Jacques Rogge, “I feel deeply for those affected and join in solidarity with the people of China.” The money will be funneled through the Beijing Olympics Organizing Committee.
