mind you, it may not be the most practical solution but curious if there is any software that would render common presentation formats into video format?

now that you mention it, I notice my presentation tool of choice is iMovie – I notice many people take to video a lot better. I also find it’s fun to narrate to a 1.5 min video – you just recreate your share each time – brief and to the point – works like a charm!

just another twist on what the iPhone is and is not :)

We need to run NATIVE PowerPoint and Keynote files WITH ANIMATIONS to use the iPhone as the ultimate wired and wireless presentation remote. Editing of such native files on the iPhone and iPod touch would be also a bonus. Is that possible?

ha – if you ask me, dump microsoft as quickly as you can, have patience and adopt all the web-based offerings and everything will work out in due time ;-)

that said, yes, there are some practicalities the masses demand so point taken – this will be interesting to watch to see how it all pans out!

Why stop at Power Point sync? Why not allow all office apps to run natively on iPhone just like a mac? Of course Microsoft would have to make its software touch smart.
