iPhone Tip: Auto Brightness On The iPhone

For iPhone users who try to balance between perfect screen visibility in outdoor and indoor conditions along with maintaining optimal battery life will appreciate this tip provided courtesy of Apple.

If you go under Settings then Brightness and enable Auto-Brightness the iPhone will increase or decrease brightness based on ambient light conditions. This might not seem like much of a tip if you do not know what ambient lighting is so allow me to explain. Ambient lighting is essentially the overall illumination of an environment. This includes sun light, lighting from laps or any source of brightness, these are all ambient lighting.

Since enabling Auto-Brightness I have noticed that my iPhone, in low brightness and moderate brightness conditions looks clearer and a lot more visible than me manually adjusting it.
