iRant: Tetris for the iPhone

Electronic Arts recently released a version of the legendary game Tetris for the iPhone, readily available in the App Store. However, it also seems to be getting bad reviews, but nor for the reason that you would thing. The real culprit is the price of the app, which is a bit disheatening: At $9.99, it’s not cheap. At least, not for something as universal as Tetris.
Just about every computer, every videogame console, every cell phone, hell, ANYTHING ELECTRONIC has always had some form of the game Tetris available, so it is to be expected that Tetris would be offered for the iPhone. However, considering the fact that Tetris is so universal, it’s kind of hard to justify the high price. At least with Tetris DS, you got different types of Tetris as well as multiplayer Tetris. With EA’s version, the only thing different is dragging the tetrads around, rather then using a keypad.
My thoughts: EA should reduce the price. I don’t think the app should be free (It might. I just don’t think so.) but it definitely should be available cheap, because it is Tetris, and it happens to be my favorite game of all time, above Super Mario Brothers, Halo, and others. So here’s my question…what do you think it should be charged?
