With all the buzz surrounding Tiger Woods’ ‘bizarre’ car accident, we sometimes forget that there’s still golf being played in the world. But not too worry, yours truly will keep you in the loop. At the World Cup of Golf, the dynamic duo of Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell of Ireland are still ahead of the pack, but by the slimmest of margins. While McIlroy and McDowell were carding an 8-under 64 in the fourball format, the Italian brother combo of Edoardo and Francesco Molinari shot an 11-under 61 to gain three strokes on the Irish lads, while defending champion Sweden’s team of Robert Karlsson and Henrik Stenson went around in 62, to tie for second with the Italians.

The three teams at the top appear to be the only ones with a legitimate shot at winning the title. Japan and South Africa are seven strokes back, while Wales and England find themselves eight strokes behind.
Final round is Sunday.
