Is Hillary Alright With The Way Things Turned Out?

I’m just wondering. Will she be alright you think? She’s a lot like me – a sore loser. I HATE losing and sometimes struggle to congratulate the winner. I wonder if Hillary is the same way. Speaking of which – has she congratulated Obama yet?

With the changes going on in the political arena, I seriously doubt if Hillary goes away quietly. After all, she did want the presidency bad. Really bad. And now she’s offering to be Obama’s Vice-President. That’s so nice, but I don’t know if I’D take her up on her offer. Would you?

Let’s hope Hillary doesn’t act like a scorned woman and go breserk. It is just a race right?

    No, she is not alright with how things turned out. She has not congratulated Obama. She hung in there even though she knew it was fracturing the Democratic party. And her speech last night showed her true colors; that’s she didn’t care for the Democratic party but only for herself. I’m surprised so may people were “shocked” by the way she acted. She has always been this way, even when Bill was President.

  2. Thanks for the comment, Tony. I do think her hanging in there to the end hurt the party badly, which is why I think she’s a sore loser.

    Bridget, were you being serious or sarcastic when you said it was nice that she offered to be Obama’s VP? I think either way could totally work. :)

    @Tony – I highlighted a quote in a post I wrote as a follow-up to Bridget’s, and I think it bears repeating here:

    “We pledged to support her to the end,” Representative Charles B. Rangel, a New York Democrat who has been a patron of Mrs. Clinton since she first ran for the Senate, said in an interview. “Our problem is not being able to determine when the hell the end is.”

    I doubt Hillary was intentionally harming the party, but rather just hanging in there and hoping for a last-minute turnaround, a dark horse moment. Was it the right thing to do? Depends on who you ask, I guess. :)
