Is Sarah Palin Trig’s Grandmother or Mother?

August 31, 2008 by admin

When Sarah Palin was named John McCain’s running mate, many people didn’t know much about the Alaska Governor. But rumor mill started churning this weekend when speculation began that Palin’s youngest child is not really her son, but rather her grandson.

An article in the Daily Kos states, “Well, Sarah, I’m calling you a liar. And not even a good one. Trig Paxson Van Palin is not your son. He is your grandson. The sooner you come forward with this revelation to the public, the better.”

The writer goes on to speculate that it was Sarah Palin’s 16-year-old daughter that gave birth to the baby Trig, who is afficted with Down Syndrome.

I’m not sure if I believe this gossip – a 40-something year old woman is much more likely to have a baby with Down Syndrome than a teenager. However, ArcXIX at the Daily Kos makes their case with photos and video. What do you think? Is Sarah Palin the grandmother or mother of Trig?

You are probably thinking by now, what does this have to do with sports and where is Jodie?

Well Jodie is on vacation so I’m filling in for a couple days. And Sarah Palin was an accomplished basketball player in high school, and tried her hand as a sports newscaster as well.

Check out this old school video of Sarah Palin’s sports report.

  1. Gekkobear says:

Right, and they’ve just released that Bristol is now 5 months pregnant (4 months after Trig was born).

So obviously Bristol is not only the mother of Trig, but is also a miracle mother capable of getting pregnant with a new child while 8 months along with her previous one.

Good story though. No relation at all to reality; but hey, that’s why it’s a rumor site… right?

Is Jodie really on “vacation” or is she pregnant with bat-boy’s child? Running around with Bigfoot perhaps?

  2. admin says:

At least the Palin family is keeping things interesting :)

As for Jodie … maybe it’s Bigfoot’s baby. I guess we’ll have to wait until her return to find out.

  3. Palinisaliar says:

I think that Bristol is not pregnant. I think trig was Bristol’s son and Palin pretended the baby was her own to cover up her daughter’s actions. After all of this speculation surfaced, she came out and said Bristol is currently pregnant. She is not. Something will happen and she will miscarry or something.

Obviously I don’t really know, but there is something fishy about this and other things as well. I personally don’t care if Bristol is, was, or never was pregnant, that’s their business, but there is something un-truthful about Palin and I would not want her to be in charge of our country ever.

  4. Iagreesheisaliar says:

Thank you. I am thinking the same thing. Grandma Palin looks awesome, for a 40+ women who has given birth. And Bristol has the after baby weight. Politicians have and will continue to lie to cover up scandal. This is just another mistruth that will come to light – happened to President Clinton, happened to Senator Edwards, Senator Mark Foley, and the list goes on… STOP the LIES… The truth shall set you free… Sarah Palin is no Hillary Clinton, no Condolezza Rice, no Nancy Pelosi… She is a woman but not the right woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. jane says:

do not let this palin woman get away with all her lies. thank you

  6. jane says:

We will definitely be hearing this girl had a miscarriage. mark my words.

  7. frank burns says:

The whole scenario fits together logically like this:

Bristol originally got pregnant last fall not by the boy they are now claiming to be the current father, but by a full-blooded Inuit or Eskimo. Bristol insisted on having an abortion, but her mother forbade her. Bristol ended up agreeing to have the baby under two conditions: 1. She would stay home from school until the baby was born, and 2. Her mother would claim that the child was actually hers. This second condition actually was a stone that killed two birds, since it would explain the baby’s squinty-eyed appearance, since they could say that because Sarah is an older mother, the baby has Down’s syndrome. Some years later, of course, it will turn out that the baby doesn’t have Down’s syndrome — but that could just be chalked up as another “miracle.”

So far, so good. We all know that Bristol stayed home those five months, and Sarah claimed to have miraculously given birth to a baby, even though she hasn’t looked pregnant beforehand.

Then, last Sunday morning, because of Sarah’s nomination has McCain’s VP, the bloggers started surmising most of the truth. Sarah, Bristol and their family and cohorts looked like they were going to be caught in their lie, so as a last-ditch effort they claimed that Bristol was five months pregnant. This apparently solves the problem, since if this were true Bristol could never have given birth to Trig (so-named because of the one son and two-mother triangle).

Just one more lie, to cover up the whole preceding string. This one seems to be working. Even the bloggers seem to have mostly fallen off from the track. Later, it will turn out that Bristol will have “unfortunately” miscarried the baby. But that won’t be until after the election in November.

  8. Jesse says:

Just FYI to the first poster. My friend saw Bristol when she was pregnant. Trig was born at 8 months…

You can get pregnant right after giving birth, look it up.

Her and Levi were doin it right she had Trig.

There, now you know what everyone close her knows, hopefully she can stop being depressed about her mom stealing her baby now.

  9. Peace says:

Here are the photos, page down half way and see evidence from the summer myspace page of Mercede who is the sister of baby-daddy Levi Johnston. In the captions, she refers to Sarah Palin as “mommy-in-law” and the baby Trig as her new baby brother.

    http://cajunboy.tumblr.com/

The myspace page has since been taken down, but the evidence remains. Someone will talk. It’s a small town. Lies have short legs. RNC: Get the truth out now and do some damage control. All you finger-pointing people telling others to lay off, how about sitting back and saying, ok maybe there’s some truth to be told. Those preaching the loudest usually have the biggest skeletons to hide.

Let the girl have her baby, out in public, and please let the mom and grandmother be proud of the baby. Is Bristol pregnant now? Who knows. Maybe maybe not. But she IS the mother of Trig.

And, here’s the Washington Post with the news about grandma Palin cutting funding in Alaska for help for pregnant teens. How ironic. Don’t teach them about birth control, and then throw them out on the street when they decide to keep their babies.

    http://voices.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2008/09/02/palin_slashed_funding_to_help.html?hpid=artslot

Still want to defend her? Still?

How about her vocal and RECENT views about seceding from the United States? Is this patriotism? The AIP’s goals are to infiltrate major political parties with the end mission of seceding from the US. Take all that oil and run. Nice. Good job AIP.
    Secessionist Sarah:

McCain’s vetters need to be fired.

  10. Jodie says:

I leave town for a few days and this is what I see when I take a peek at GoS from the Enchantment Resort in Sedona: Rumors about me and Bigfoot’s love child.
    I *like* it! Yay readers!!!

  11. glenncz says:

Does Sarah have 4 or 5 children. We “the people” need a simple fact check! If you want to know the truth about the Sarah Palin pregnancy HOAX, check out this website which has all the links and facts/lies in one place. Give yourself an education and then you can judge for yourself! These are almost all news articles and some simple mental conclusions.

  12. dscha says:

What about Sarah having the baby on Fri and back to work Mon? Anyone ever heard of that? Especially at her age, a recovery would be more difficult. Her story sounds too implausible. Add the girl’s absence from school and……very fishy. I read in one source that Levi was at alternative school last year. Anyone have anymore info on that? Bristol was NOT on the Bball team last year at Anchorage HS, so more evidence that she was out of school. And all the pics taken down, plus no birth record. Look at Bristol’s behavior with the baby compared to Sarah’s. I think it was a coverup and the girl rebelled to get pregnant again, a baby mom couldn’t take away.

  13. Cherryl Lewis says:

Bristol looks about 3 months pregnant to me. Well within the timeframe required for birthing Trig and getting pregnant again. That is if there is actually going to “be” a baby? Somehow I doubt that Bristol is going to give birth again. This scenario was cooked up to hid the fact that Sarah Palin is NOT Trig’s mom. It is her daughter Bristol’s hard drugging and partying that probably caused the child to have Down Syndrome. Palin doesn’t want that truth to get out either.

  14. kish says:

I totally agree that Trig is Bristol’s baby. If this was anybody else beside Palin’s daughter this family would be talked about and downed by everyone for having a teen daughter pregnant.
And also people do the cover up thing all the time. I knew a girl from my hometown that got pregnant by her stepfather and the mother covered it up by saying the child was hers. To this day the truth has not come out.
Bristol is not pregnant now and if she is, it is because she is rebelling for what her mother did. TAKE HER BABY.

Then in regards tot he delivery, there is no way your water is going to break, you give a 30 minute speech, ride 11-12 hours on a plane, give birth and then return to work the next Monday. Anybody who belives that is on hard drugs.
Don’t let this woman fool you. Sh eis not the type of woman who we need in charge of the US.

  15. anonymous says:

We don’t know for sure that Bristol is actually pregnant, let alone as far along as she is said to be, so we can’t use her supposed pregnancy to discount the possibility that she is Trig’s mom. For lots of detailed info on this topic, go to http://www.palindeception.com.

  16. This is rediculous says:

so here it is December, and Bristol is still pregnant. huh..imgaine that.

whats it matter anyway? Obviously Trig is Sarah’s boy. Obviously Bristol is pregnant. Why would they want to cover that up anyhow? Either way the media and democrats all around were going to bash on Pailn because she is a women, and she made it further than Clinton did.

How on earth did anyone come up with that story anyway? (frank burns)

You would probably be a good science fiction novelist, but not a very good liar.

I think that everyone’s opinion is biased because everyone wants their vote to count. No one will vote according to what that candidates can do right or to what they stand for.

Stupid people watch biased TV shows and news channels, even myself (tho i have a brain to use unlike many) and get caught up in all the propaganda.

My point is this exactly, this election is history in the making. We have a potential black president who has obvious past connections with terroists, a really old guy who probably doesn’t know how to work his shaver in the morning, and an upstanding lady who’s being bashed on about who the mother of her own child is.

Get real people. Study politics, not opinions.
Stop watching the news too, it teaches nothing to no one.

Read. Read about what these people want to do for our countries. Read from a neutral point of veiw and then decide.

As it is, we now have Barak Obama in our whitehouse, and though i wouldn’t have voted for him, i still hope he can at least do SOMETHING.

Those who are sore about their new President Elect should also try to understand that we’re stuck with it and instead of being sour about it, try to be open minded.
    he might do something right.

Oh, and if you didn’t vote simply because you were too lazy to, you shouldn’t be allowed to have an opinion about the matter.

  17. Cherryl Lewis says:

Yes, here it is December. Where IS this mysterious baby? I predict that there will be no birth because this was amazingly cooked up so that the pregancy wouldn’t be done until after the election. Now they don’t really need the pregnancy so “poof be gone”.

Poor Bristol. With a “mother” like Palin she might as well have been raised by wolves. No wonder the kid is so messed up.

  18. gotta love science says:

Tripp Johnston was born 12-27-08. Assuming he was born after 40 weeks gestation (full term), the first day of Bristol’s last period was 3-20-08 and the day of conception was on or about 4-3-08.

Trig Palin was born 4-18-08, about 2 weeks after this date. However, if Tripp Johnston was born at 37 weeks, which is still considered full term, he would not have been due until Jan. 17. This would put the first day of Bristol’s last period at 4-10-08, with the day of conception on or about 4-24-08.

Very young women like Bristol Palin are often very fertile. They will begin ovulating again very shortly after delivery, unless they’re put on birth control, which we know Sarah Palin doesn’t believe in.

There’s one very easy way this whole controversy could disappear. Compare Trig’s Y chromosome to Todd Palin’s Y chromosome. The Y chromosome passes virtually unchanged from father to son and if they are father and son their Y chromosomes would be nearly identical.

The Y chromosome would NOT be affected by Down Syndrome, which is a third copy of the 21st chromosome. The Y chromosome is only present in males. It would also be totally unaffected by maternal DNA, so the results would not be affected by Bristol and Sarah being related or by Bristol’s DNA from Todd.

Another way is to compare Trig Palin’s Y chromosome to Tripp Johnston’s Y chromosome. If they have the same father they would have identical Y chromosomes. If they have different, completely unrelated fathers they would have completely different Y chromosomes.

  19. frank burns says:

Who is to say that the birth has actually taken place? Every news report is based on statements by Sarah, her aunt, or governor Palin’s press office. If Bristol was less than 5 months old in August, the old rumors still stand. If in the future photos appear of Tripp, how can they be dated?

  20. Cherryl Lewis says:

Time will tell, and there is no good karma coming ouf a lie that big.

In the meantime, we’ve been spared having that Palin wack job in office. Let her mess up her own children’s lives and stay out of the rest of country’s family business. Amen!

  21. comeonpeople says:

Trig was probably born by Bristol in Janor Feb prematurely. The April 18th date is his’reveal date”. Bristol got prgnant again as mom concocted the scheme to birth a downs baby the day after McCain won the nomination. Bristol got prgnant again ’cause Scarahstole her first baby. Threarespikes in incidence of down syndrome in very young and veryoldmoms.bristol was only 16 when she conceived and a heavy party-er to boot. The truth will come out eventually. Anyone idiot who believe sarah’s wild ride birth scenario deserves to have her as VP.
