Is Seinfeld the Right Man for the Job for Vista?

Microsoft has hired the services of Seinfeld to the tune of 10 million dollars to boost Windows Vista campaign. This is part of the 300 million dollars of marketing budget that Microsoft has allocated to turnaround the image of Vista.
As Robert Passikoff, Brand Keys president (NY branding firm), says that Microsoft is not seen as cool compared to Apple. I wouldn’t argue with that but I don’t think there’s any comparison here, just look at the market share. Microsoft’s biggest competitor is itself, really.
Anyways, Seinfeld could give Microsoft Vista a boost but I don’t think he is at the top of his career right now to make that happen. Seriously, I would rather get Adam Sandler to do the job. If Adam can use Vista, then everyone should be able to. :) I am a big fan of Adam and I think he can make this item cool even for kids.
