Is Stephen Curry Fun To Watch Or What?

Ok. I’ll admit it. I have a sports crush on Stephen Curry.

He is the most fun and inspiring college basketball player in the national scene. Sure, I can appreciate Tyler Hansbrough’s tenacity and 110 percent effort. But there’s something magical about Curry. And those who witnessed Davidson’s “Cinderella” NCAA Tournament run last year know exactly what I’m talking about. stephencurry_nc.jpg

Curry captures fans in the “moment
and can turn a hater into a supporter with the simply stroke of his wrist as he releases the ball from the three-point line.

I don’t know if it’s in the bloodline or what, but this kid has destiny written all over him. Like his father (Dell Curry) before him, he was destined to be great.

I find it incredibly ironic that he wasn’t highly recruited out of high school because of his size. But his freshmen year was so stellar that he finished second in the nation in point per game behind Kevin Durant. Yet it took a national stage like the NCAA Tournament for people to start paying attention to Stephen Curry. (How many ACC schools are kicking themselves for not taking a chance on him?)

I’ll admit it.

I didn’t even know who Stephen Curry was until last year. But I’ll tell you this, when there’s a Davidson game on television I tune in to watch. And I have a feeling that I’m not the only one.
