The origins of the Kennedy curse reach far back in history to the late middle ages when Chief Kennedy of the tribe signed a treaty with the Tudor family of Kilkenny which broke his taboo to protect the tribe. I’ve written a novel which was workshopped on tnbw and features a spirit in a cave explaining the whole series of events to a couple of girls from Kerry. The novel is set during WWI & the Irish civil war. Kennedy retrieved the treaty from Kilkenny during his Irish visit in ‘63. He died a month later.

I had never heard of the “Kennedy Curse,” but I did always thing this family had a lot of bad things happen! Great post, really interesting.
