ISO a Different Kind of Cheater

Normally when we discuss cheatery at the Craigslist Curmudgeon, it centers around spoiled students who are too lazy to do their homework. Today, I’d like to present you with a different kind of cheatery:

Female blogger needed

We’re searching for a woman with a compelling personal story to blog for our web site and would love to hear from you if you are:

a. In your twenties
b. currently cheating on your husband or long-term boyfriend (or suspect he’s cheating on you)
c. willing to blog about it anonymously

All we need to know is your first name, age, general location (e.g. New York City area) and a vague description of your occupation (e.g. work in real estate, teacher, etc.).

* Location: anywhere
* it’s NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests
* Compensation: Competitive, will be discussed on follow-up

This is the perfect way to get caught cheating. Seriously. What if the husband wants to use the wife’s computer? What if he’s looking for a cool book mark, after all married people have nothing to hide and share everything, right? And what if he comes across his wife’s blog editor or Wordpress admin link? What do we think will happen then? Any woman who is cheating and dumb enough to blog about it, deserves to be caught.

  1. Yeah, they probably do deserve it, but just like your comment on the previous post I’m sure they’d get someone to do it. Although with the way some people I know cheat indiscriminantly and stupidly I wonder sometimes if they really want to get caught.

And any writer creative enough could get this gig without being a cheater. Well, not a romantic one, anyway… ;-)

  3. Maureen says:

I agree, Laurie. You don’t even need to be female to pull this off, just have a good imagination ;)

  4. Laurie says:

    Exactly what I meant. ;-)

    heh

  5. Hmmm…. that gives me an idea.

  6. Laurie says:

That’s what I was hoping to hear.

  7. Laurie says:

I just realized that ad ALSO offers the gig to a woman who is BEING CHEATED ON.

That puts a rather different complexion on it.

  8. Mike S. says:

A note to all the cheaters out there: Learn how to clear your browser’s history and cache. Thankfully my former wife didn’t have this skill and I found out she was on quite a few sites looking for another man.
