It’s Firefox!
My friend told me that since she had discovered Firefox, she had stopped using Internet Explorer. She says that she finds Firefox pretty easy to use and that it comes with really helpful features. So you want to learn more about what Firefox can do? Here are some.
- Use the spacebar to scroll up. You can use shift+spacebar to go down.
- Ctrl+F to find something on that site. The small bar that appears on the bottom of the window tells you whether there is such a term on the site you are browsing. If the small bar turns red, there is nothing.
- Just press Ctrl+D to bookmark a page.
- Tabbing has been made available by Firefox. So just press Ctrl+T and you get a new tab in your window. This feature I like because it makes me feel more organized.
- You do not need to move your cursor to the address bar to go to another site. Just press Ctrl+L and voila! The address bar is highlighted and all you need to do is type in the new URL you want to visit.

I did not know about the spacebar and ctrl-L tricks. thanks.
Great post, but I think you’re a bit late to the Firefox party.
Take a look at Flock, too – it’s built on top of Firefox’s code, with a significant portion of social media expansions.
Firefox is great! I’ve been using it for the past 2 years. Thanks for the tips.
