The number two team in the nation is pounded by No. 8 Georgetown 74-63 in a Big East showdown a few minutes ago in Hartford and televised nationally on ESPN.
The Hoyas (10-1) never trailed in the game.
Who will be the next undefeated team to fall?
Georgetown really looked good in this game. I was really surprised to see them go up to CT and take UCONN down like they did. If it’s at Verizon Center maybe it’s different but damn, that was impressive. I guess I didn’t realize that Georgetown was going to be all that great with so many good players gone over the past few years.
