It’s Voting Day, Kiddies

Today’s the day when all those political ads go away! (Also known as voting day.)
I’m feeling good that my phone will no longer be ringing off the hook with recorded messages from the Republican and Democratic parties. (Such a let down when you think someone really wants to talk to you, only to find out it’s a politician… and a recorded one at that.)
Incidentally, in case you’re wondering how sports lovers vote, one site says “NASCAR voters favor John McCain by 21 points over Barack Obama.” I believe some of those people also wanted to vote for Ross Perot, but he wasn’t available this year.
In case you were looking for something fabulous to help you celebrate today, there’s a couple guys hanging around Times Square selling election condoms.
Yes, ELECTION CONDOMS.

The condoms sell for $5 each or 3 for $10.
I think I’ll stick with the “I voted” sticker that the 95-year old working at the voting booth always give me on the way out.
