J. Crew, my favorite store in the entire world, except for the fact that their pants will never ever fit me in a million years (damn my stumpy legs and long torso) has come out with a yoga line.
I know, I almost cried tears of joy as well.
They have tons of yoga pants and tanks, as well as great coats, headbands, and even their own mats.
So, if your boss is not around to fire you/mom there to scold you, close your office/bedroom door and prepare for some wonderful, juicy, titilating CLOTHES PORN.

I went to J Crew this weekend to look for work clothes and my stumpy body didn’t fit into anything. I have a super long torso with broad shoulders and short, stumpy legs with big thighs but narrow hips. All of the blouses looked wrong because they were too tight across the chest yet a little too short and baggy elsewhere, and all of the skirts were too big at the waist/hips and much much too long. Ugh. Do. not. feel. attractive. Have I mentioned that my gymnastics coach used to call me 80/20 (80% torso, 20% legs).
PS When I do push ups or traveling planks or tricep dips or even overhead tricep extensions, l get this weird tingling/discomfort right above my elbow. It feels kind of like a nerve is being pinched? Any ideas on what I can do to prevent this so I can go back to my regular exercises?
I’m lovin that yellow bag for every day usage. Of course I went to site and hit the handbags right off. Wow I love them, but way out of my budget. :(
I love J. Crew but 18$ for a headband and $55 for cotton fold-over pants? Not for this yoga girl:) I sweat too much to pay that kind of dough for cotton!
And Sally – I have that SAME elbow issue! Weird!!
Hmmmm it IS a quandry.
My stumpy legs will prolly love.
My wallet? Cries out for the ‘mart.
As in wall.
As in BIG BOX I KNOW….
Drooldrooldrool!
So lovely.
I too have stumpy legs. But a stumpy torso too. Sighs. Tis the drawback of being 5″0!
OMG yes, yes, YES!
And now I sound like I’m in a porn. lol.
Clothes porn… even better than food porn and not nearly as fattening!
Their pants don’t fit me either, but ohhh their tank tops. Love.
I have an outlet right by me.
It is all really nice, especially the striped bag, but holy cow is it expensive. Definitely something to get as a special treat or as a present!
Sally- 80/20, thats funny. My gymnastics coaches used to call me “stop that” “pay attention” and “why are you so spastic?” It sounds like the start of tendonitis, but Id check with a doctor. If you dont want to shell out the dough, try a brace for a little bit and see if that helps.
Maggie- they are expensive. everything is expensive there- thats mainly why i either drool on the dispays or head straight to the sale section
charlotte- Its funny because when i work out i usually wear sweats and wifebeaters, but the GOOD workout clothes i buy i wear around on the weekends. ive never realized that before.
MizFit- you are like Dr. Sueuss. I love it. its like a riddle everytime you comment. my boyfriend wont let me go to walmart because “they are contributing to the downfall of small business…blah..blah…” damn him and his morals. I actually think he just likes to yell about stuff but whatever.
Sagan- as long as you are proportionately stumpy ;)
FBG- its ok, girl, let it out. we don’t judge.
jj125- indeed! except im always left wanting more….
runjes- outlet!!? i didnt know there was such a thing!
HangryPants- Columbus Day is coming up, right? That calls for a present!
