JabandGrapple.com’s WWE Top 5
- John Cena – Things weren’t looking up for Cena until this week on Raw when he reversed an attack by Randy Orton into an attack of his own, slamming Orton onto a chair before a traditional FU. Momentum is building for Cena but next weeks Raw could halt his forward progress as he partners with Orton to take on the entire Raw roster.
- Edge – The “Rated R Superstar” also has momentum after winning on SmackDown and Raw in the past week.
- Chris Jericho – Jericho makes a surprising jump up the rankings this week after capturing the Intercontinental Title on Raw from Jeff Hardy. Can he continue the momentum and win the Money in the Bank match at Mania?
- Triple H – Triple H was victorious this week but that’s not the only reason he makes the list. Next week The King of Kings gets his turn at controlling the Raw show and it could help him significantly. He’s already announced the Cena-Orton tag match. What else does he have in store?
- Randy Orton – Orton’s stock took a hit this week after getting his DQ attack on Cena reversed into a steel chair. The WWE champ ranks behind both of his Wrestlemania 24 challengers and has no momentum. Can he get back on track before the end of the month if he hopes to retain the gold?
I think they took the belt off of Jeff Hardy so he could win the MiTB match.
