Japanese Shafted by XBox 360

The Japanese are just getting royally shafted by the XBox 360 team. And here I thought Microsoft was trying to make more of an effort to break into the market in the tech obsessed country, where Sony and Nintendo reign supreme. “Trying” apparently means making themselves as unattractive as possible and hoping that the quirky Japans trend-setters consider that cool and proceed to scoop them up by the millions.
Take, for example, the fact that the Japanese get even fewer backwards compatible games than the poor Europeans…144 less to be exact. What good is buying a new system when you can’t even play your favourite games on it? Japanese will be forced to keep both the big black box and the ugly white thing! That’s a crime.
To top that off, any half-wit with…well half a brain…would know that RPGs are the game genre to be in Japan. Massively Multiplayer or not, they like their butt-kicking, sword-swinging action. So what does Microsoft do? It drops the 360 in the land of the rising sword with a launch list that hasn’t got a single RPG to its name. enCHANT arM, Tengai Makyou Zirai, and Ninety-Nine Nights have all been delayed, leaving the list packed with non-Japanese titles. Are they trying to make this an astounding flop? Because they’re doing a pretty sweet job of it.
Here’s my projected scenario: They get the 360 late, wait patiently until the first RPG debuts and they eagerly pop it into their console, but alas! Their power source will overheat, lighting their tiny apartment on fire by igniting the useless pile of original XBox games. Japan, just steer clear of this one okay?

*laughs* Lighting their tiny apartment on fire :D Anywho, Japanese people are way too smart to buy *any* Microsoft products.. remember, they’re quite a bit smarter than us europeans ;)
And eons smarter than us North Americans.
I played my friends Xbox 360, lets just say that the graphics haven’t changed one bit………..well, except for Quake. Plus the system is HUGE (so is the black power thingy), how are the japanese supposed to deal with that……….there isn’t a lot of free space in most japanese homes.
