Jay Glazer Brings MMA to the NFL

Fox reporter Jay Glazer is all about covering the sports world. But his other passion is mixed-martial arts (MMA). MMA, for those that don’t know, is seriously the toughest sport around. The NFL is tough as well, without a doubt, but in a different way.

Perhaps that’s why a few NFL players are joining Glazer for a mini MMA workout camp. It started with Minnesota defensive end Jared Allen. After Allen, other players “asked for MMA workouts.” Then, Arizona quarterback Matt Leinart showed up at Glazer’s regular MMA gym in April to work out.”

Leinart says, “I was looking for what could separate me from other guys. … These guys are animals.”
