Here are the results from last nights SmackDown episode, the last before Wrestlemania:

  • Dark match: The Major Brothers def. Deuce and Domino
  • Finlay def. Mr. Kennedy
  • MVP def. a jobber
  • Jeff Hardy def. Randy Orton
  • Ashley, Maria, Candice, Torrie Wilson, and Mickie James def. Melina, Jillian, Kristal, Michelle McCool and Victoria
  • CM Punk def. King Booker
  • Stone Cold delivers 2 “Stone Cold Stunners” to JBL
  • Teddy Long completes interview with Undertaker and Batista
  • Batista delivers spinebuster to Taker but Taker sits up before the show ends.

I thought SmackDown last night was solid but I thought it could have had a little more in the way of news for this weekends matches and I would have really liked some more matches but it looks like the match card is finalized for tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how the WWE manages to stretch the 8 bout card to about 4 hours be we will have see that develop tomorrow night.

Just thought I’d add a little self-promotion in here about our coverage of Wrestlemania in the next 24+ hours I will be adding breaking news here on Jab and Grapple about anything Wrestlemania. Also at 6:00 pm EST tomorrow we will start our live coverage of Wrestlemania 23. I have found a script that will allow for a live chat function as well which I will go into detail about tomorrow but mark your calendars, PDAs, or write it on your hand but whatever you do just remember to make Jab and Grapple your Wrestlemania source.
