Jeremy Bloom
My good friend Sasha observed that American Olympic skiier Jeremy Bloom is slated for the NFL draft this year. Of course, as an adopted-Aussie, she had no clue about Mr. Bloom but that’s okay… she kept us informed on the Commonwealth Games.
Personally, I don’t expect him to go before the 4th round myself. It takes a Deion Sanders or Bo Jackson to pull off dual-sports well when the NFL is one of the sports.
Oh… He plays American Football. I was wondering what NFL meant… ;)

Only that it requires men to wear paddings and helmets.. taking out the sheer joy of it being a contact sport! Heh. :)
You’d think Bloom could have picked sports that didn’t have overlapping seasons. Right there I’m questioning his decision making abilities.
I really don’t see him doing that well. He’s talented and atheletic, but he’s small, got kind of a big ego, and just doesn’t seem like a football player.
