“Jurassic: The Hunted”

Is it just me or is there a resurgence of dinosaur interest all of a sudden?  Between Land of the Lost and even Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs it just seems like the world is growing tired of vampires and are checking out these other toothy creatures.

Jurassic: The Hunted was released this week and I’m not going to lie – these graphics look pretty cheesy to me but I can see how some people might enjoy playing this game.  I’m sure there are some suspenseful moments in the environment.

The game is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii and seems to combine the ancient world of the dinosaurs with today’s technology (check out those guns in the images!).

The storyline follows weapons and survival expert, Craig Dylan, who has been “hired to protect a research team sent to study the strange temporal energy of the island and recover whatever is left of the expedition lost on the island 25 years ago.”

Of course, Dylan has to find a way to get back to the present day but he’s got to live through daily battles with the enormous creatures.
