This is for the pugnacious folks among you. Ha! Bet you came across “pugnacious” on an 11th-grade English vocab test and thought you’d never see it again. We’re not only snarky here at Gossip on Sports, we’re pretentious, too. And don’t you forget it.
Yes, this is for those of you yearning for a bench-clearing brawl in the playoffs or waiting anxiously for hockey season to get juiced (’cause you watch it for the fights, right?).
This is from June 1, 2007, and the mild-mannered fellow in the video (2m, 16s) is Mississippi Braves Manager Phillip Wellman. No doubt many of you have seen it, and maybe it’s just me, but nothing says “TGIF” like a good tantrum.
