Kane, Undertaker Deliver Messages
I have to say that SmackDown would be ranked last out of this weeks WWE shows pretty easily. There seemed to be absolutely nothing on it worth watching. Here’s the match results:
- Matt Hardy def. Mr. Kennedy
- MVP def. El Grande Latte
- MNM def. WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick & Ashley
- Kane vs. Daivari (No Contest)
- King Booker vs. Undertaker (No Contest)
SmackDown opened OK with Batista delivering a Batista bomb to the Miz. Batista then did ring side commentary for Undertaker’s match with King Booker. The match was a no contest when Filay interfered but Undertaker delivered a message (if you could even call it that) by throwing the irishman onto Batista.
Kane delivered his message by destroying Davairi and dragging him away with the “see no evil” hook. At least this match had a little excitement.
Only real news to come out of SmackDown was that MVP will be facing Chris Benoit at Wrestlemania 23 for the U.S. Championship. I just don’t see MVP winning the title but it could happen.
Not a very good SmackDown at all. Anyone else watch it and feel the same way?
