Kanye West Cancels Tour

There has been all kinds of speculation about this but Kanye West has officially cancelled his tour. Organizer, Live Nation, made the announcement this morning. I can’t say that I’m totally surprised but I’m actually a little worried.

After he stormed the stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when he felt Beyoncé should have won for “Single Ladies” instead of Taylor Swift, he stole the moment from the young singer and has been out of favor with fans ever since.
Of course, no reason has been given for the cancellation but fans will be getting their money back, which is good but it’s also a sign that these dates aren’t being rescheduled.
If you bought the tickets online or over the phone, the money will be refunded automatically, otherwise, you can be credited at the point of purchase.
What do you make of this? I worry about Kanye. I know he’s got a big ego (or pretends to) but he was really devastated after the death of his mother and this has got to be tough for him.
