I was just searching for a site to help me remember some of the quick and powerful Windows Key keyboard shortcuts that were available and found this Knowledge Base Article and thought I’d share with everyone.

Some of my favorites are:

  • SHIFT + DELETE: deletes permanently without going to Recycle Bin
  • ALT + TAB: quickly switch through open applications
  • CTRL + TAB: scroll through active documents in a multi-document interface. NOTE: This also works with cycling through Firefox tabs!
  • WINDOWS KEY + R: start Run dialog
  • WINDOWS KEY + D: minimize all windows to Desktop
  • WINDOWS KEY + Break: Open System Properties
