Announcement time!
We have a new addition to the b5media Sports Channel—Inside the Ballpark with Hunter Pence.
This new blog features MLB player Hunter Pence of the Houston Astros. We extend a laurel *hands over wreath* and hearty handshake to Hunter. (Yes, we stole that from Blazing Saddles).
Hunter will pen a weekly blog post to detail the latest happenings in his life as an Astro. Inside the Ballpark will also be updated daily basis to keep everyone on their toes with all things Hunter and all things Astros.
Hunter is entering his second season for the team after a very successful rookie year, during which he hit .322 with 17 homeruns and 69 RBIs. He also collected 30 doubles, nine triples, and 11 stolen bases.
Plus, we think it’s pretty cool that his birthday is the same as the hubby’s. See how we pay attention to detail?

And speaking solely for Gossip on Sports, we’d like to add a very big “Phew!” to this news. We’re pretty happy that Hunter plays with the Astros and not the Yankees or we’d have to tone our anti-NY sentiments down a notch or 12 . . .
