Does anyone else find it nothing short of . . . what’s the word? Oh that’s right stupid.
Yeah, OK, take two: Does anyone else find it nothing short of stupid that ”inconsolable bombshell” and “Dancing with the Stars” appear in the same sentence?
According to the show’s judges, Kim Kardashian’s feet are a pair of lefts. People.com pretends this is actually newsworthy reports that New Orleans Saints RB Reggie Bush’s booty-er half “could not be consoled” after being deemed Also Ran #3.
Roger Federer losing to Rafael Nadal after a tough five-setter at Wimbledon. Alicia Sacramone falling off the balance beam at the Beijing Olympics. The New England Patriots losing the Super Bowl to the New York Giants. The New York Mets collapsing at the end of the season two years in a row. These are examples, in the world of competition, to which “inconsolable” applies.
Kim Kardashian losing to Cloris Leachman & Co. on a show that has a very, very, very loose definition of “stars”? That’s called “predictable.”
Perhaps some of Reggie’s 23,000+ “friends” on MySpace will step up to the plate and make her feel better.
