Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

I have good news and I have bad news. First… here’s the good news. There’s a new Kingdom Hearts game coming to us from Square Enix for the Nintendo DS. The next game in the Kingdom Heart series, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, (what in the HELL is up with that title) the player gets to live in the life of Roxas (the main character). The game takes place after the first game in the series, Kingdom Hearts, and before the second game and third game in the series, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II. The game will also feature some pretty awesome graphics for a game on a Nintendo DS.

Most of the stuff that Square Enix produces for the Nintendo DS looks like it was made for a bunch of 6 year olds (with the exception of The World Ends With You), so it’s refreshing to see that Square Enix is going to be pushing the DS to its graphical limit before causing the DS to actually explode in your hands by the awesomeness of the graphics.

So, what’s the bad news? There’s a trailer for the game… but it’s in Japanese. Even weirder is the fact that the commercial I saw before this game trailer was a commercial about STDs. I was a little creeped out, but it sure did teach me a lot!

I love the Kingdom Hearts series and see what they can do with the DS to make a fun game even more fun. The graphics look great for a DS game, don’t they?
