Know Anyone You Can Honor?

Happy Birthday to You!

Happy Birthday, Dear Vernon, Happy Birthday to You!

Today is my husband’s birthday and I wanted to take a moment to honor him. He just got a new job, an executive level position with a very good organization in Washington D.C. I am very proud of him! This man, has been married to me for almost 23 years and other than myself, I don’t really know many more people who work as hard as he does. We both were raised in families where both parents worked hard every day! And we do the same, sometimes to a fault.

Let me tell you some things about my husband that make’s him a great employee for his new employer and a tremendous loss to his current organization. I have already mentioned how hard he works. He is also quite smart, cares for his employees and he is willing to do more than his share to see the organization be success.

If you left your current organization, would it be painful for that organization? If not, you need to take a look and figure out why. You are either an Asset or a Liability to your organization. In this current transaction for my husband’s new organization, they gained an asset. My husband will be VERY successful in his new role!

 I love you Vernon!
