Kraft Stove Top Stuffing: this is why I’m hot

What’s the best way to demonstrate what your product does? Get your consumers to experience it, of course!

Cold and hungry winter commuters in Chicago will definitely be getting a positive experience from Kraft’s Stove Top campaign, which will see the company installing heating in 10 major bus stops as well as distributing their instant stuffing mix.

With the holiday season coming up and what looks like a record cold winter, the campaign will emphasise the instant warmth and cheer of this popular Christmas product.

For those in Chicago, you can get warm and try the stuffing mix at these bus stops:

  • 431 N. Michigan Avenue (Michigan Avenue & Hubbard Street)
  • 757 N. Michigan Avenue (Michigan Avenue & Chicago Street)
  • 538 W. Madison Street (Madison Street & Clinton Street)
  • 1 E. Washington Avenue (Washington Avenue & State Street)
  • 5 N. Michigan Avenue (Michigan Avenue & Madison Street)

And you’ll also find heating at these bus stops:

  • 16 S. Clark Street (Clark Street & Madison Street)
  • 197 N. State Street (State Street & Lake Street)
  • 300 N. Michigan Avenue (Michigan Avenue & Wacker Place)
  • 221 N. LaSalle Drive (LaSalle Drive & Haddock Place)
  • 533 N. Dearborn Street (Dearborn Street & Grand Street)

Heating and a snack??! Can’t beat that! Bring on the ads to Philadelphia.

  2. I LOVE this move – from a brand extension/engagement point of view & from a P.R. perspective! Applicable. Timely. Unique.

Regionally, this should show an interesting track bump. I wonder if, from the P.R. perspective, it will have enough punch to go national? It’s creating a nice buzz with SM (this is the 4th post I’ve seen about it), but will mass media pick it up?

Kudos to Kraft for the fun… great job!
