Kuznetsova Qualifies for End of Season Championships

Svetlana Kuznetsova has qualified for the singles season ending event in Madrid, Spain. The championship event will be held at the Madrid Arena from November 7th to the 12th.

Others who’ve qualified so far are:

• Amelie Mauresmo
• Justine Henin-Hardenne
• Maria Sharapova

“Qualifying for the Championships was one of the key targets I set for myself this year. I am delighted to have made the Championships as one of the elite eight singles players, and I cant wait to get to Madrid, as I consider Spain to be a second home to me. It’s going to be a fabulous week of tennis and more,” Kuznetsova said.
