KVD Leads After Day 3 On Kissimmee

After a day full of high wins and low catches, Day 2 leader, Kelly Jordan has slipped after 3 days of fishing to none other than Kevin Vandam. KJ’s day three goose egg now has him trailing KVD by 4.14 lbs. An small deficit considering the fishery, but if the weather doesn’t cooperate by laying down the winds some, than KJ can expect results much like day 3.

KVD’s day 3 weight of  13.7 was anchored by a 7lb large mouth. He also struggled due to the high winds. Because he is not sight fishing like KJ, his only issue if boat control, but it still has an effect of lure presentation. The day 2 runner up, Byron Velvick also struggled falling out of the top 12 after day 3.

The fourth and final day should be interesting. If KVD has anything he has been saving, you can expect to see him exploit it much like he did on Lake Guntersville last year for the win.
