Lance Armstrong , hoping to come back to this years Tour De France after a three year break may have a bit of a set-back. The 37 year old, 7 time Tour De France winner broke his right collarbone when he crashed during the first stage of the race in Spain that’s set for 5 days. The cause behind the crash has not yet been announced, but Armstrong may need surgery to repair the collar bone and may be out 3 to four weeks, reports Cnn.com .

The Tour De France starts in July so I don’t know if that’s going to be enough time for Armstrong  to recover and continue training for the event. I also don’t really know the stipulations for competing  in the Tour De France. For an interesting history of the Tour De France, visit the Wikipedia page for Tour De France and read up on the interesting ways they used to “Dope” for the race.
