UMD can’t slow down RIC’s roll
Rhode Island College won its eighth consecutive game and the 12th in its past 13, as Kaseem Johnson turned in a double-double and Antone Gray scored a team-high 18 points in the No. 25 Anchormen’s 82-71 win against No. 15 Mass-Dartmouth on Tuesday night.
The win gives RIC sole possession of first place in the Little East and gives the Anchormen a sweep of the season series with the Corsairs. Tuesday’s men’s scores.
St. John Fisher ended its four-game tailspin in dramatic fashion, going on an 18-0 run in the second half to blow Rochester Tech away, 72-51. It’s RIT’s first Empire 8 loss of the season, giving No. 8 Ithaca, which beat Stevens 81-68, first place by a half game.
