Medicare is a government-sponsored insurance program for people in the United States who are at least 65 years old. Dating back to 1965, it provides health insurance coverage for millions of retirees around the nation.

If you want to learn more about Medicare, there are a number of helpful websites on the internet. Here are a few that you should definitely visit:

Medicare.gov
This is the official Medicare website of the United States federal government. It has loads of information and helpful contact information for those who have questions.

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
While this website also has a lot of information about Medicaid, the Medicare information is easy to find and well formatted. You can also subscribe for email updates to get the latest Medicare information.

Medicare.com
Although it isn’t run by the government, Medicare.com is an extremely useful website. It has information on basic Medicare coverage, drug coverages and Medigap insurance.

Medicare.org
From Medicare training to Medicare tools and from life insurance to Medicare basics, Medicare.org has a wealth of information.
