Forget Tom Brady with Gisele Bundchen. Lebron James and Gisele are the new It Couple in the fabulous world of celebrity-athlete pairings.
On the cover of Vogue, that is.
The Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star is only the third person with an XY Chromosome— “man” for those of you who were doodling in the margins of your high school biology notebook that day—to grace the glossy front.
In the snapshot, Lebron’s dribbling a basketball with one hand and getting cozy with Tom’s Brazilian supermodel with the other. (Unwittingly providing a textbook example of why sometimes it’s OK for the right hand not to know what the left hand is doing).
The April issue of Vogue has photos of other male athletes with the fashion industry’s hotties: Michael Phelps with Caroline Trentini; Shaun White (the redheaded snowboarder who seriously needs a haircut) with Daria Werbowy; and Apolo Anton Ohno with Doutzen Kroes.
And what did Gisele think of her cover-buddy?
“He doesn’t really make you feel small, even though he is big.”
And we’re just going to leave that out-of-context double-entendre right where it is and let you fill in the blanks.
