In the 48-minute basketball game he played in against the Mavs, LeBron finished with 24 points, 12 assists, six rebounds, two blocks, one steal and zero turnovers. After Dallas led by as many as 15 points and 30-20 after the first quarter, LeBron and company turned up the heat. As a result, the Cavs outscored the Mavs 82-43 in the final three quarters.
All-Star points guard Mo Williams had 22 points and five assists for Cleveland, while Dallas was led by the 20 points Dirk Nowitzki scored. No one else on the Mavs was able to score more than ten points. With the win, the Cavs extended their winning streak to a franchise-record 12 games.
In the 60 Minutes interview, LeBron was shown in his hometown of Akron, Ohio and they also featured LeBron at a concert he setup for Barack Obama at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. At the concert, LeBron was shown with Jay-Z, the multi-platinum rapper who is a friend of LeBron.
Many NBA experts consider LeBron as the 2008-09 NBA MVP favorite. His accomplishments on Sunday definitely did not hurt his case.
