Lego Metroid Prime trailer

Talk about fanaticism for both Metroid and Lego. This guy, FederArtsRamen, has recreated Metroid and Samus Aran’s Varia Suit’s shiny butt in Lego bricks—and it looks really cool. Watching the video makes me wish Lego and Nintendo would tie up to produce a line of, well, Metroid Lego. I’m sure it’ll be a hit.

Anyway, let me show you the video first:

I’m a big fan of Lego myself, having built wonderful models out of the colored bricks when I was, well, young … er. Here’s a rundown of the models I’ve created out of Lego: Airwolf, Blue Thunder, Japanese super robot Daimos, M.A.S.K. Thunderhawk, M.A.S.K. (Venom) Switchblade, G.I. Joe Conquest X-30 forward swept wing jet fighter, and the different “F” jets (including the F-14 Tomcat and the F-16 Fighting Falcon).

Unfortunately, digital video and still cameras were not available back then. Sorry, no documentation. Sigh.
