Leona Lewis Attacked At Book Signing

British singer, Leona Lewis, was punched in the face at a book signing yesterday. The attack was apparently unprovoked according to eyewitnesses.

Variety reports that Lewis was at the Waterstone’s book store in the Picadilly area of London and had been meeting and greeting fans for more than an hour when a young man, who had been standing in line, just walked up and punched her in the face.
The event was to celebrate her new autobiography, Dreams, and I’m sure she never dreamed that something like this could or would happen to her. How crazy. Lewis was apparently shaken up and saw a doctor as a precaution but she didn’t appear to sustain any major injuries.
The attacker was taken away by the London Metropolitan police. What a dumbass!
