Less Than Helpful Column Resizing in Word 2007

I’m not sure if you can really tell from the screen shot above but look at the example of column resizing functionality in Word 2007.
The initial image shows a column labeled “Data Source” that’s too narrow to show the full path of the location for the data source. Being the average user that I am, I thought I’d be able to click on the column divider and drag the width of the column to a length that would display the full path of the source file.
Not so much! It still cut off the path display to something less than I’d expect or that’s really that much more helpful.
