Lessons on Blogging and Life from His Holiness the Dalai Lama

Although I was raise Roman Catholic, and very active in the Church at one point, I’ve studied many religions over the years and have found great wisdom and solace in Buddhism.

Although you might think it strange, if not maybe sacrilegious, Blog Tutorials has posted some bits from H.H. the Dalai Lama that are worth not only a read, but some deeper thought as well–The Dalai Lama on Blogging by Blog Tutorials.

Do I try to live by Buddhist teachings?  Yes, actually I do.  Does it express itself in my blogging?  I think you can decide that for yourself.

Essentially I believe that there is a way to not like something without denigrating or hurting someone.  There is something to learn from all experiences in life, both the good and bad ones.

I think the question we all have to ask ourselves is whether our work adds something positive to the world or something negative.
